Arrival direct loading improves our export efficiency of ammonium sulfate
The so-called “direct loading upon arrival” is a brand-new measure launched by China Customs: for container goods that do not need to be inspected, they can automatically generate release instructions after arriving at the customs supervision area, and directly ship and leave the port. Containers can be directly transported to the wharf to participate in loading and unloading operations, reducing hoisting and reverse operations, which not only saves customs clearance time, but also reduces logistics and storage costs.
On April 25, 2023, a batch of 47,900 tons of ammonium sulfate fertilizer destined for Brazil was being loaded onto a cargo ship by staff in the Jingtang Port area of Tangshan Port under the supervision mode of “arrival direct loading” implemented by Jingtang Port Customs.
This batch of chemical fertilizers came from a chemical company in Shanghai. “Enjoy the ‘arrival direct loading’ mode, which can save our company more than 400,000 yuan in transportation, storage, and ship detention.” The manager of the company’s logistics department introduced that the company exported 400,000 tons of chemical fertilizers last year. In the first quarter of this year, 200,000 tons of chemical fertilizers have been exported, and 700,000 tons of chemical fertilizers are planned to be exported throughout the year.
