GACC announce Compulsory inspections For China fertiliser exports

On October 11th, 2021, the Chinese General Administration of Customs released Announcement, which adjusted the list of goods subject to inspection category ‘B’. This delineates goods that are subject to compulsory inspection upon export.

The announcement does not include details on the specifics on how the inspections will be carried out. It stated that the inspections would begin starting from October 15th. 29 product lines were on the list included in the Announcement, with various fertilisers including urea, NPK, ammonium chloride and DAP present therein.

Ammonium sulfate is an environmentally friendly product. If the government restricts its export, it will cause a large stock in warehouse and delay the production of the main product.
