Governor Indira announces ammonium sulfate at 4,420 pesos per ton
Governor Indira Vizcaíno Silva programs and actions to support the economy of the people of Colima, Mexico

Accompanied by the Undersecretary of Rural Development (Subseder), Jaime Enrique Sotelo García and Alberto Cortez Martínez, General Director of Revenue at the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Administration (Seplafina), reported in Dialogues for Transformation, various programs and actions carried out by the state government to support the economy of the people of Colima.
According to the agreement with a company from Colima, nationally recognized for the quality of its products, fertilizers will be made available to farmers at preferential prices; such is the granular urea with a cost of 8,120 pesos per ton; standard ammonium sulfate at 4,420 pesos per ton. The official stressed that these fertilizers and prices will be made available in each municipality.
Biography
Indira Vizcaíno Silva is a prominent politician in Mexico who has advocated for a variety of causes throughout her career. Her candidacy for governor represents a significant milestone for gender equality
She is a member of the National Regeneration Movement party. She has held various political positions throughout her career, including serving as a local legislator in the state of Colima and as the Secretary of Social Development in the same state. Vizcaíno Silva has also been active in promoting social and environmental causes, such as the protection of sea turtles on the coast of Colima.
In 2021, Vizcaíno Silva announced her candidacy for governor of the state of Colima and became the first female governor in the history of Colima. She has campaigned on a platform of reducing corruption and improving public safety, as well as implementing policies to support economic growth and social welfare programs.
