Zamfara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Sani Mustapha has paraded 27 suspects with various offences ranging from Gang of Thieves and involvement in the illicit trade of fertilizer inputs in the state.
Parading the Suspects at the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Gusau, on Saturday, Commandant Sani Mustapha said that about 108 unauthorized fertilizer inputs meant for industrial blending of fertilizers were impounded from some illicit dealers of the products in Gusau, the state capital.
“Granular Ammonium Sulphate and Muriate of Potash were among the prohibited fertilizer inputs to be sold to the general public unless for industrial blending”.
He therefore said that all the culprits in this illicit trade will be charged to Court for prosecution.
